The book is based on the article, to say the least created attention when it was published in the London Review of 2006. The article, written by two researchers at the University of Chicago and Harvard, demonstrates very clearly how the US government is influenced by the full force of the Jewish lobby in form of big political contributors, Christian fundamentalists, neo-conservatives, the media and so on. The book also shows those for the American citizens extremely negative consequences of this pro-Jewish policy driven through, not least by the result that the United States started the war in several countries only because it favored Israeli interests.
